I love to paint on a big scale. It is exciting. There is nothing like a well placed, well painted, mural. It creates a striking impact and can dramatically transform a space. It turns a plain wall into something beautiful and unique. It tells a story about the people who dwell there. For me, it is a privilege to take part in the creation of something that resonates a “wow” in me, and a “wow” in others.
I have been painting murals for over 10 years, and have had the pleasure to paint murals for both large commercial and city projects, as wells as schools and homes, including the rooms of lots of lucky children and adults.
I love the process of creating a mural. I never know what crazy ideas are in store for me when I meet with a new client. The brainstorming process is an adventure. When my clients don’t have a clear idea, I gather a few small clues and then I offer suggestions based on my intuition and experience. My job is to take the seeds of inspiration from the client and transform them into something beautiful they will enjoy for a long time.
As an artist, I feel confident that I can work with my clients to create a finished product they will love by incorporating their ideas, tastes and style into the mural. My intention is that the whole process of creating and executing the mural should be fun. We are creating something very special, let’s enjoy it.
I currently live in Los Altos, California with my husband David, son Lucas (9) and daughter Allison Sky (7).
