Trompe L'Oeil Murals
Trompe L’Oeil means “trick of the eye” in French. The use of perspective and realistic-looking foreground elements trick the eye into believing it is looking at something real.
Originally painted in opulent castles in Europe, this art form creates an impressive border with which to frame a scene, and gives a wall the illusion of depth. Trompe L'Oeil is also ideal for rooms with lots of unbroken wall space, including condominiums and stairwells.
